Excel is probably the most commonly used tool for report writing available, with it data can be extracted from almost any database or accounting package. We know it inside out and can write custom reports for use at any level.
Many clients prefer to export data into Excel as they are familiar with its layout and functionality. Plus once written, by just clicking a button they can be updated at any time.
